Suha DH: Vet Gen tested SCID clear; UC Davis tested CA clear
Soleil DH: Parents tested SCID clear therefore she is clear; not yet tested for CA

Sanaa DH (sold): Parents tested SCID clear therefore she is clear; sold prior to CA test

Some genetic disorders present within the Arabian breed have no tests available as yet, such as

  1. Lavender Foal Syndrome (LFS);
  2. Occipital Atlanto-Axial Malformation (OAAM).
  3. Juvenile Epilepsy Syndrome (JES)
  4. Guttural Pouch Tympany (GPT)

Tests can only be developed via participation from breeders, such as providing hair and blood samples and pedigree details. Please support the research where possible (visit our links page). To date (November 2009) we have not produced a foal affected by any of the above disorders.
