Khalee El Sadir is a classical grey mare bred by Holly Farm Arabians. Her huge, dark and soulful eyes reflect her sweet temperament. Compact and smooth-bodied, with a beautiful head, we think she will fit into our breeding programme perfectly.

Khalee's sire is Simeon Sadir. Simeon Sadir was not only a National Champion halter horse on three occasions, but also a well performed Endurance horse who competed and qualified at the 2000 World Endurance Championships in France. Simeon Sadir is in turn sired by the Straight Egyptian stallion Imperial Madaar, a National Champion of Australia, and son of influential parents Imperial Madheen and Ansata Nile Mist.

Simeon Sadir is out of Simeon Shirli, arguably the most influential mare family at Simeon in terms of world wide influence. Her descendants include Simeon Shomer (National Champion of New Zealand in halter and Top Five under saddle), Simeon Sanegor (National Champion of the USA), AJA Sanagor, (2005 British Supreme Champion), KM Bugatti (dual champion in halter and performance), Al Arayam Suhalya (2009 Ajman Champion filly) and Al Aryam Sadad (2007 Ajman Reserve Champion colt).

Khalee El Sadir is out of HFA Silver Karial. HFA Silver Karial is a daughter and great granddaughter of the late great Saracen Karim, the fairytale Arabian who blitzed the show ring and won over all breeds in harness, starred in television advertisements and a music video, as well as turning his hoof to other disciplines. His influence on performance and show Arabians in New Zealand is enormous. Saracen Karim was more than 7/8ths Egyptian blood and was closely related to famous horses such as Anaza Bay Shahh, Anaza El Farid, and Prince Ibn Shaikh.

Silver Karial's mother, Gold Kanial, a gorgeous chestnut, was linebred to the famous Crabbet mare Silver Fire through two crosses to Silver Sparkle and one to Silver Moonlight. Gold Kanial's sire Jabal was a versatile stallion who competed under saddle into his 30s, and attended Pony Club with young members of the Marshall family until it was discovered he was a stallion!

In tail female line Khalee El Sadir traces to Dahma (Blunt) via the Roll of Merit mare Silver Lady. Silver Lady achieved her prestigious award through producing foals like Silver Reflection (holder of 11 NZ National Championships, and sire of National Endurance Champion Ambrose and World Endurance Championships team gold medallist Minstral), Ibn Naaddel, Riblah (sire of National Champion mare Pendell Shamera), Silver Ember (grandmother of Endurance National Champion El Zad Karim and great grandmother of World Endurance Championships team gold medallist Malik), and the "poster mare" Naaziri.
