SS Shula is a dream mare; no fuss, no drama, you can take her out to shows with her foals at foot without stress, she has never needed any help to have her foals, and to many different sires has always bred on something nice. She is able to be scanned by the vet without a crush, stands happily and quietly for the stallion during serving without the need for sedation, twitches or hobbles, is good to float and good for the farrier. She is a stunning mare and is a typical of the Shemini/Rula daughters, many of whom are National title holders (eg SS Bint Seetha, SS Ari, SS Sula, SS Suri).

CA Melika Silver Fire is your opportunity to obtain a direct SK Shakla Khan daughter. She is from a super female family being maternal sister to Redwood Lodge Estonia (multi National champion), Wind N Fire (National and multi champion and 160km Endurance) and Redwood Lodge Firewalker (National and multi champion and 160km endurance); she is sweet and loves kids, she gets in foal easily and her first foal (sadly deceased) by Shaheen Al Saba was exceptional and very reminiscent of the Shakla's Silver Dream family, so I think she is one of those mares that will consistently breed on better than herself when crossed with the right stallions. She is also excellent to serve, scan and great for the farrier.
Price category C.
Any resulting gelding foals will be available, price category D, please enquire in October when all of the foals are due. Fillies by Shaheen Al Saba will be retained, sorry.

Double National champion Shaheen Al Saba (Thaqib Al Nasser x La Moniette by Prince Fa Moniet) +Au is available to the best of homes - this is an exceptional horse. Utterly beautiful, and unique in type and pedigree for New Zealand, he probably needs to be overseas for his potential to be fully realised, but if you are a Kiwi breeder with vision, the right mares and plenty of resources to put into him, please get in touch. We have put the background work into him - importing him as a foal, gambling on his potential, placing him with excellent trainer/handlers to achieve his show wins, but now as a 5 year old it's time for someone to take him to the next level, an opportunity which we cannot give him due to our young family and farm commitments. Shaheen Al Saba is an easy stallion to have around, intelligent and friendly, serves in a rope halter. Very fertile, 6 out of 7 times he has got the mares pregnant in one serve only. We will retain his frozen semen. Unbroken but like his sire should make an outstanding saddle horse.
